The Cockburn Bowling and Recreational Club Inc is a not-for-profit organisation and as such is governed by a Club Executive who are elected by the Members of the Club. The Board has strategic oversight of the Club with an emphasis on the strategic direction, financial management and good governance.

Board of Management

The BARC Board members serve a term of 2 Years and commencement dates alternating to ensure continuity in the strong governance of the Club. The role of the Board member is significant and is certainly time consuming.  All Board members of the club are voluntary and the Board is responsible for the employment of the General Manager. The General Manager is the Clubs most senior employee and oversees the day to day management of the club and its employees.
